Sloane Floberg, LPC

Counselor

Sloane was born and raised in North Dakota with a natural desire to help people. In 1993, she graduated from NDSU with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Science. 20 years later, Sloane completed her internship at Chambers and Blohm Psychological Services and graduated with her Masters in Community Counseling from the University of Mary. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of North Dakota.



Sloane has extensive experience and interest working with adolescents and welcomes adults as well who struggle with a variety of issues including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, anger, grief, spirituality, conflict and trauma. Sloane is eclectic in her approach to therapy and will use a variety of techniques to explore what is at the heart of the matter for each of her clients. She believes that finding a counselor is like finding a good pair of shoes. If they don’t fit right, it’s always okay to try another pair. The journey is best when you have a comfortable fit it the places where you need it the most.

Sloane enjoys a good laugh and spending time with her friends and family at home either playing games, watching a movie or camping by the water and fishing. She loves planting flowers in the spring, working at a summer youth camp on the weekends watching the sun set with her family or sitting outside by a fire pit and smelling the leaves in the fall.
